Submitted on 3/13/2017 Review title of JoyceVery frustratingI have been playing this game for some time as I love Backgammon. However, I am very dubious about the dice rolls. The majority of the time when one of my checkers is left unguarded the computer rolls exactly what it needs to knock me to the bar. Almost every time I accept the computers 'double' it then rolls doubles. ALMOST EVERY TIME?!? This game would be awesome if it were truly random but I just don't buy it.
Most of the games that I am able to win are the ones where I NEVER leave a checker unguarded. Submitted on 4/8/2017 Review title of LeeFor the most part, very well put together game. Unfortunately, dice appears to favor computer and is not random as the developer claims. Further one advances in skill level, it becomes so heavily stacked in favor of computer that player loses interest and abandons game.
Very frustrating because potential for an enjoyable game app is there, but the attempt to make it challenging leans too far to impossible. Pirates of the caribbean 2003 game download. I will delete app when I find a better one.
Submitted on 2/1/2017 Review title of KaitlinCOM get's every roll they need.The game seems a bit rigged. I've been playing backgammon since I was young. I'm expert level because that usually poses somewhat of a challenge, but the COM will get double the doubles I receive as well as getting every roll necessary to either get me (while being able to cover their man) or to avoid my blocks. If I have only one space open in my home the COM will always receive that number. It's frustrating because it is not a fair challenge, but a fixed one.
Dice does not come fairly almost 100% of the time. One or two or even a few more games would be understanding and logical, but after playing for a bit and winning a few medals, suddenly I can't ever win.
Submitted on 8/29/2016 Review title of LynneIncredible Dice Rolls for ComputerJust now the computer went from sure defeat to win as it got double 5's THREE times in a row followed by double 1's. I realize it says the dice are random, but the computer gets incredible series of doubles almost every time it is losing. And yes, statistically, I probably get as many doubles, when I am trying to get back on the board and only for the number of the pin the computer has covered. In other words, I conveniently do not get near the benefit from rolling doubles as the computer does. I have had this game on my phones and computers for years, but it is getting worse and worse. I used to rarely lose at Medium level, tonight I won two of fifteen games. The computer kept getting incredible dice rolls, multiple, multiple doubles.
I have played many live games in my lifetime, no one gets doubles that often, or just the right dice so consistently. I am uninstalling; I am done.
