If those had been ICBMs your character would have been killed as you were about 30 feet away from the explosion. Plus you don't launch ICBM's from orbit. ICBM's are launched from the surface of the Earth, hence Intercontinental Ballistic Missile.
If you want to launch a devastating weapon from orbit, just drop a large tungsten rod.Looking at how scrawny Liberty Prime is, it really wouldn't take much to kill him. In fact if you spawn the non immortal version of Liberty Prime, you can take him down without too much effort. Liberty Prime is an over engineered boondoggle that would be completely ineffective in any real conflict. If you wanted to make a large laser platform, your best option is to make the platform as small as possible with as small a profile as possible, and put it on wheels or in the air. Likewise if you want a platform for launching small nuclear bombs, your best bet is again a platform that is as small as possible, such as making multiple Fat Men. You'd also use an actual launcher, not a hand, that was the absolute worst delivery mechanism ever conceived.
