So, today I have spent around 3 hours trying to get ancor of fog with no luck so far, add that to around 4 hours yesterday!! I'm only using the deadly mist!! Usually by the time I get to the room where I fought Valkyrie, my mist bar is already at half if not below.

Is that why I haven't got any ancor yet? Are the paid chest any good?3- lets say you are standing before a major boss fight with no rage? Any work around getting rage real quick?btw, I haven't beaten the game yet, just got to the part where they keep saying, we are almost at the end!! Should I come back to Niflheim after beating the game? I'm on give me a challenge!!. That’s weird.
I used a full mist set, the war one and have more than enough time and then some to get the anchors. Equip the blight ruins if youre not that good.I was wrecking at only level 6. Level 8 was a breeze.
I’m 90% sure you’re guaranteed an anchor of fog everytime you hit the middle IF you don’t already have 3 in inventory. The air resource is the one that’s heavily rng dependant. (You need those for Mist armor upgrades)If anything, again, just equip blights to reduce mist. But from level 6-8 you shouldn’t have a problem, I never had to use a blight to reduce mist. The thing is though, using a ton of mist ruins could negate how much damage you’re dishing out and making killing enemies last longer. Just the the blades with cyclone ability. Always use Atreus and crows and it should be no problem.
You got this.Edit: to get rage really quick, like I needed for valkyries, go to nilfheim. Kill a few baddies with fist only. Take echoes back to Sindri and go back and repeat. Fist hits/kills always give rage.

I haven't completed it, but I've done 2 of the echos and working on saving up for the third.You want to stack as much mist resistance gear as possible. The monsters sometimes drop items you can put in your sockets that increase mist resistance and buff a stat or two. I've got like 7 or 8 sockets with those and then a couple legendary gems. There's also an axe pommel that has a chance to remove some mist corruption on kill and a talisman you can use that heals you and removes some corruption. The talisman is crafted by the dwarf guy and the axe pommel is in the chests in the middle if I remember correctly. I'm at the point where I can run a full lap through the ruins and still have like 25% left on my bar.I would grind some echoes and make sure you've crafted everything you can and open up some of the chests.
I was pretty cautious at first and only killed the first two encounters several times. From what I remember the more expensive chests didn't always give items that were immediately useful in the mists, instead they were items you would use once you were done.I'm not sure there's an easy way to farm up rage aside from spamming the talisman that generates rage before entering the mist.I haven't beaten the game yet either, I think you can really do it whenever you want. I kind of look forward to being done with Niflheim since the gear I've gotten is pretty strong and I'm sure it will make a lot of the other content easy.
