In the Property list box Go to 'Transmit Buffers' and increase this to maximum. (In my case this was 512)10. Click OkThis solved my problem of limited connectivity. Hope this does for you too!!!
Hi, I had the same issue with my Surface 3 and BT Internet. I tried so many solutions online, in the end it was easy to fix permanently.I had to get an Ethernet adapter for my Surface, I connected directly to my modem via the Ethernet cable then went into Network settings/Change Adapter Options/ Right click the adapter/ Properties then highlight the IPv4 connection and go to Properties, there I copied all the Gateway/IP/etc.
My internet connection has some protection. For each device I use to run internet on, I have to log in to the network from the browser after connecting to Wifi. I cannot access the Internet without logging into my network from the browser. In the status bar of my Windows 8 laptop, it shows a yellow triangle on the signal bars saying 'Limited.'
Settings.Disconnect from Ethernet and go back to your wireless network. Repeat the above process and when you get to the IPv4 properties, Select (Use the following IP Address) enter the details you just copied, do the some for the DNS server, you don't need a secondary address. Save and you'll be online within 20 seconds:)Really hope this helps.
Internet connection availability and access in Windows is indicated via an icon residing on the taskbar. If you see a yellow triangle exclamation mark on Network icon, it may mean that your Windows 10/8/7 PC has Limited Network Connectivity. There can, however, be other reasons for this issue. To troubleshoot and resolve this issue, you may try some of the troubleshooting steps listed in this post, and see if any help.Limited Network ConnectivityA Limited Network Connectivity message means that you have a weak connection or you have used a wrong passcode. Specifically, this is what it means:Your computer detects that a network is present and operating. That means that it detects that the network cable is plugged in, or that it was able to connect to a wireless access point. Your computer’s request for an IP address went unanswered. Many times, the problem appears because of wrong icon mapping.
So the first thing you should do if you see a Limited Network Connectivity message is to ensure that all your cables are connected properly and the reboot your router and restart your computer. Turn off your Wi-Fi interface and turn it back on again. Restarting the computer helps reset the internal modem. This will help get rid of the problem in most cases. In case this does not help or if the issue frequently occurs, see if any of this helps you:1 Delete the Network profile and re-create it again. To delete it, run command prompt as administrator, type the following and hit Enter: netsh wlan delete profile name=type-wireless-profile-name2. Open an elevated CMD, type the following and hit Enter: netsh winsock reset catalogThen turn off the modem and after a minute turn it on again.3 IPConfig is a tool built into Windows, that displays all current TCP/IP network configuration values and refreshes Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol DHCP and Domain Name System DNS settings. Netsh int ip reset resettcpip.txt7 If this does not help, temporarily disable and on your PC to find out if that is the cause.8 and see if it helps.9 The will help you reinstall Network adapters and reset Networking Components to original settings.10 Open Services Manager, locate Network List Service, right-click on it and select Restart to restart this service.

This Service identifies the networks to which the computer has connected, collects and stores properties for these networks, and notifies applications when these properties change. This post offers more ideas on how to resolve Exclamation mark on Network iconIf connectivity is limited and if only the local network is available, you will see an exclamation mark over the Network icon or the Wi-Fi icon. If you can connect and do not have Limited Internet Connectivity or if you do not want to be notified of it, you can make Windows not show this exclamation mark.To disable this yellow triangle exclamation mark overlay icon, launch ‘Run’ dialog box by pressing Win+R in combination. In the empty field there, type regedit and hit Enter to open the Registry Editor.
Once you’ve done a thorough check on your Gmail account, you’ll want to make sure your browser is not the problem causing Gmail to not load. First off, in case you’re using Internet Explorer or another non-Mozilla browser and this isn’t the first issue you’ve experienced, we recommend you check out the Firefox web browser. I am not sure if this is the right place to report this, but here it goes. After the recent Gmail update the inbox will not load when you start Firefox. It will just return a blank page. It requires a refresh before the page loads. I have a gmail account. Recently, I have been unable to load the gmail account standard view. I have to view the HTML view, which sucks. I also have a problem with Google calendar. That comes up all jumbled. And google maps, I can't load all kinds of features and can't move the map w/ that little hand thing. Gmail will not load in Firefox browser. I can get it in IE. I have disabled add-ons, extensions, reset theme to default, renamed extensions.?? Files, re-started in safe mode, and a few other options, but it still won't load. Gmail not loading in firefox windows 10. When Gmail won't load in Firefox or Chrome, you've got several options for coaxing your inbox into view, although Google hasn't yet offered a permanent solution to the problem. Google's Chrome browser is noted for being faster and smaller than Microsoft's Internet Explorer and Mozilla's Firefox.
