Windows 10 Pin Not Working
My hp computer updated windows 10 on 5/22/18 and now my pin does not work on the lock screen. I tried to reset the pin but the computer can't reset the pin (i get an error message). I tried to restore but it says i don't have a restore point.
Windows 10 doesn't allow user to sign-in using PIN. Windows doesn't recognize the PIN. Windows 10 doesn't show any option to enter PIN at Login Screen. Users enter PIN at login screen and the system hangs. Users have to forcefully restart their machine. PIN option was working fine but after upgrading to a new Windows 10 build, it stopped working.
I triedall of the solutions i could find on the web but nothing has worked. Everything i try to do involves a pin/password and nothing works.
I have used the same pin for almost 3 years so i know i am entering it correctly and the only time i had an issue was thelast big update. That i was able to fix using tips on the web. Last night the computer was on it was updating now it just goes in a frustrating loop and i can't get into windows to turn off the password options.

Sounds your system is in an inoperable state. I would recommend you perform a new install.I am going to recommend you downgrade to Windows 10 1703.Yes, not the best news you want to hear. These feature updates are not thoroughly engineered and are rushed mostly to meet deadlines. They have become highly unnecessary in some instances.
My opinion, focus on the apps and less on having the latest versionof Windows. If your apps are working fine and you are getting your work done, minimize your need to jump on the latest release.Now, get ready to go back to your previous version.
