The boy should listen to the Nine's will and commands, which say not to steal. The boy should be seeking friendship and communion with his fellow man instead of taking from them and making enemies. The boy should be wise enough to know not to break the law.

The religion combines the Eight Divines pantheon created the ancient civilizations of Tamriel with the apotheosized form of the founder of the Third Empire, Tiber Septim (Talos), the ninth Divine. There are six gods and three goddesses. In Tamriel, there is a chapel in each major city venerating the divines.
